Nikocado Avocado has gained notoriety for his outrageous videos, where he consumes large quantities of food while dramatically crying and shouting.
In a recent video titled “Two Steps Ahead,” uploaded on Friday, the YouTube mukbang star disclosed that he had been secretly shedding hundreds of pounds, all while leading his audience to believe he was in a state of severe obesity.
With a following of 3.9 million subscribers and a total of 800 million views, Avocado, who refers to himself as the “King of Mukbangs,” has been on a discreet two-year weight loss journey, continuing to share previously recorded content with his fans.
In his latest video, the Ukrainian-born American stated that he previously weighed 359 pounds, but he has now lost an impressive 250 pounds.
"Two steps ahead, two steps ahead," a diminished Avocado began his unsettling midnight video, initially donning a Panda mask. "I am perpetually—two steps ahead. This has constituted the most significant social experiment of my life," Avocado continued, interlacing his fingers.
"It is captivating, it is intriguing, it is fascinating to witness these troubled, disoriented individuals navigate the internet in pursuit of narratives," Avocado remarked. "They transform themselves through these narratives, becoming products of influence."
"I feel as though I am observing ants in an ant farm, each one following the other," Avocado commented regarding his supporters and detractors, adding, "individuals consuming whatever they are instructed to consume."
Avocado subsequently removed the mask, unveiling his complete weight loss transformation, and proceeded to elaborate on his grand strategy.
"Today, I emerged from a prolonged dream and also from shedding 250 pounds from my body," Avocado stated. "Yet, just yesterday, individuals were labeling me as fat, sick, tedious, and irrelevant; humanity truly represents the most troubled beings on this planet."
Individuals are consuming whatever they are instructed to consume, which positions me as the antagonist I have chosen to be. In a different video posted on another channel managed by Avocado, he remarked, "I have not produced a video in approximately two years." Although the last of his characteristic mukbangs was uploaded three months ago, it is important to note that all of his content had been recorded years prior.
Fortunately for his fans, Avocado soon returned to his previous habits, presenting an excessively large platter of black bean noodles to consume.
